Day Three Sweetheart Blog Hop

I saw this card on YouTube last night and knew immediately I wanted to try it for my last project of this hop.  I am so happy with my result.  The card type is called Surprise Pop-Up Card and you can watch a fabulous video showing you how to do it here.  I did modify Beate’s instructions a little bit though.  I found I didn’t need the card stabilizer she added and mentions in her video and my card fold is along the side and not the top.

I think I might add some of the scalloped hearts I did for the mini album to the front or maybe a beaded oval even or something.  I think it looks a little plain, but I’m still totally loving it.

Supplies Needed:
Standard A2 card base (score at top or side your choice…from Wal-Mart)
1 4 x 5.25 piece of card stock (also from Wal-Mart)
1 3.75 x 5 piece of card stock (the paper w/ pink hearts is Me and My Big Ideas)
Scoring tool of choice (I used my Martha Stewart Scoreboard)
Adhesive (I used ATG and Tacky Tape)
Embellishments/punches of your choice (the one shown here is by EK Success)
Ribbon (Target Dollar Section)
Stamps and Ink (Verve and Versamark)

And now, let’s get onto that blog candy:

I will be sending one lucky reader a mini Creative Memories album.  This album is wonderful to use as a wallet (it holds plastic perfectly) if you don’t want to use it as a scrapbook.  And, it’s red of course in honor of Valentine’s Day!

How do you get entered to win…it’s easy:

Simply leave a comment on each post I’ve made during this Hop

Yep, that’s it!  Only people who have commented on my posts for each of my projects will be eligible to win.  For my first project, click here.  For my second project, click here.

I want to thank Denise for inviting me to be in on this Hop.  And, in case you haven’t been able to view it all, here’s the line-up:
