Brave Girl Boots

There’s this scene in the movie Last Holiday where the SUPUH fine LL Cool J is flirting with co-star Queen Latifah and he asks her something like have you ever had a smell so good it triggered a memory…something close to that anyway and I couldn’t help but think that SAME kind of concept held true for the card I bring you today.  Only the question would be “have you ever pictured a project that came out 10 times better than you had planned?”  I have had that happen a few times…this is one of those times.

Supplies Needed:
A2 Card Base
5.25 x 4 inch mat
Scraps for nesties shapes and boots
Spellbinders (no I don’t remember which one)
Sports Life SD Card
Unity Stamp
Versafine Ink
Glossy Accents (spur, sole, and boot accent)
Adhesive (tombo mono adhesive and ATG)

If memory serves, the cowboy boots are cut at 3.5.  The nesties are one of the label options and the stamped sentiment is from Unity’s Brave Girl Set that I purchased when they had that ROCKIN’ sale a few weeks ago.  I applied glossy accents to all the black areas of the boot and filled in the top of the boot with stickles.  My eCraft drew these beautiful lines for me that made stickling and piecing a cake walk!!!

This card is so fitting because leaving a domestic violence situation often requires some super-sized brave girl boots.  I hope these paper ones will be just what someone needs to keep steppin’ forward!  Thanks for stopping by!
