Cheerio it’s tea time don’t ya know!

Wow I guess that blog title is what happens when British English meets Fargo meets a sleepy blogger.  Anyway, it’s that time again, time for another a Simple Sunday challenge over at Getting Cricky.  This week’s challenge is designed to warm you from the inside out.  I wouldn’t say our weather outside is frightful, but it is definitely cool and crisp now…perfect for enjoying a hot cuppa’ anything.  As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I am not a coffee drinker.  Plus…even if I wasn’t LDS I still couldn’t be a coffee drinker…I can’t get past the smell of that stuff….ewwwwwwwwww.

I do however, enjoy a nice all natural herbal tea on  a cold morning such is the one facing me right now.  With that in mind, I created this:

Ginseng is not my favorite type of herbal tea; however, the yellow color goes beautifully with the Fall feeling that’s present in the air in many places don’t you think?  Yes yes…I know it’s already winter in some places too, but here in my little spot on the map we are still enjoying the rich beautiful colors of fall.  This project features the following K Andrew Designs Stamp sets:

I would like to tell you how I created this project, but it was done how I cook a lot of things in my kitchen….I used a little of this and a little of that and some of this and some of that.  The card base is your basic A2 card base.  The tea bag holder I came up with on my own and the pendant shape is from Spellbinders.   Now, if you haven’t already done so, please head over to Kristal’s Blog where you can warm up with all the other hot projects the Design Team has created!  Kristal even has a great prize package you can win…like usual!
I have tons of things to share with you so if you haven’t subscribed to my blog so you can receive email alerts, now’s a great time to do so.  Please let me know if you have any questions on how to go about that.

  1. Great job! Love the colors. I am not ready to be done with fall yet so I like seeing these colors in projects as much as possible. The pendant share is really cool. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I love the don’t ya know. I say it all the time and my out of state family laughs at my “accent” when I say it.

The card is so cute! I love how you used a tea bag on the outside.

    Great job.
